I’m Mackenzie, a momma, certified doula, nutritionist, birthfit coach, and holistic health coach who believes postpartum isn’t just a phase…it’s a sacred rebirth. And you? You deserve to feel nourished, grounded, and supported every step of the way.
My Story: From Athlete to Momma to Modern-Day Village Builder
I grew up in the farmlands of Wisconsin, running through fields and chasing finish lines as a lifelong athlete. My love for wellness started early, but it deepened in college when I lost my cycle for six months as a competitive runner. I was told it was "normal" but deep down, I knew it wasn’t. That experience lit a fire in me to question everything and start viewing health through an individual, not one-size-fits-all, lens.
From liver flukes and detox protocols (yes, I was doing coffee enemas before they were trendy), to yoga teacher training and nutrition studies. I kept peeling back the layers of what true, holistic health really means. I earned my degree in Nutrition & Wellness and worked everywhere from chiropractic clinics to organic farms, eventually landing in personal training and later becoming a certified Health Coach through Integrative Nutrition School (IIN).
My work naturally evolved as I began supporting women through their cycles, mineral balance, and nutrition. Then came a new chapter, I became a mama in 2023, right as I began my doula training. That’s when it all clicked: my purpose is to support women from maiden to mother and beyond.
Now, through the Well-Fed Momma Method, I guide women through the forever-intertwined season of postpartum blending movement, nourishment, nervous system support, and birth education.
